Note: These are industrial grade blades and may have some marks or scratches on the surface from the manufacturing process but that will not affect the blade function at all. These are 100% functional blades. I won’t ship them if they're not!

NOTE: Older Craftsman edgers using the 8 1/2" blade have either 3/4” or 1/2” diameter spindles depending on what model you have. 

Newer model Craftsman edgers that take the 9" Tri-Arc blade should use my BDE-3S 9" blade for replacements. 

I call them my "Beasty Blades" because they are very aggressive and you won’t believe how quickly and easily these will cut thru the toughest grass that’s overgrowing your sidewalks. The laser cut leading edge really digs into the turf.

This is a very aggressive blade design based on a Sears Craftsman 3 way blade design. These are designed to fit the older Craftsman edgers that still require an 8.5” blade. These will just rip thru that overhanging grass along your driveway and sidewalks. The wide blade surface helps guide you along the concrete for smoother operation and a straighter edge! 

Once you've tried one of my “Beasty Blades" you'll never go back to a "regular edger blade”. Buy more than one and save on average shipping costs per blade!

Super Heavy Duty 8.5” 3 Tab Edger Blade Replacement Upgrade with 3/4” or 1/2” center hole using a supplied bushing. This steel is 50% thicker than what the competition is selling so they’ll last significantly longer. These are precision laser cut .130-.134” (3.4 MM) thick 10 gage 1010-1018 HRPO tool steel compared to others that are .090” (2.3 MM) thick stamped 13 gage steel. Compare the last two edge pictures for thickness. The first one is mine. The second one is the competition. Read some of my reviews and you’ll see these see are fantastic edger blades!

These will fit any Craftsman edger model with a 8.5” inch blade and 3/4” or 1/2" center hole with a nylon reducer bushing that I supply on all orders that centers and balances the blade on the half inch shaft. 

All blades come with the 1/2" reducer bushing supplied. If you don't need it just knock it out of the blade and throw it away and you're ready to install the blade on a 3/4” spindle.

My blades may look more expensive than the others but you're getting 50% more steel than the competition. Remember the old adage "You get what you pay for", well that applies here also! 

Plus, if you can find an OEM blade on here you'll likely be paying 2 to 3 times what I'm asking for these blades which are far better than the originals!

I’ve made these for myself for years and I finally decided to make them available to the public because they are better than what’s available at your typical big box hardware stores. 

And they’re made right here in the USA, not in China.
